As we celebrate 250 years of American Independence, let us be sure to pause and thank God for our heritage, our freedoms, and our many blessings. While serving as President of the United States, George Washington pleaded with his fellow countrymen: "Let us unite, therefore, in imploring the Supreme Ruler of nations, to spread His holy protection over these United States ..." It is our prayer that today, we as a nation, are honoring the request of our greatest leader.

From Your Missionary
I just returned from a mission trip to Idaho with two of our churches. I return with several thoughts in mind. 1. God's creation is so varied and beautiful - the hymn How Great Thou Art still applies! 2. When you serve others, you are the one who receives the greater blessing. 3. Psalm 133:1 says "Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!" I saw God's people operating together in unity and it was "good and pleasant."
Please pray for Redeemer Baptist Church in Grangeville, Idaho and their pastor, Matt Claridge AND pray for their building to be completed soon for the glory of God.
