FEBRUARY 9, 2026
The Georgia Baptist Mission Board has asked all of our churches to take a day in 2026 to pray about the 7 million lost people in Georgia. As an Association, our day is FEBRUARY 9, 2026. On that day, we are asking all of our churches to pray for the salvation of our lost family members, friends, neighbors, coworkers, classmates ...
As part of that emphasis, we will be hosting a Prayer Meeting on FEBRUARY 9, 2026 at
Fort Baptist Church

From Your Missionary
In Matthew 25:14-30 Jesus gives the parable of the talents. Not all were given the same amount, but the expectation of faithful production was applied to each. Let's apply this to our churches. More than half fall into the "Normative Size" congregation meaning less than 200 worshippers on an average Sunday. Recently, The Christian Index carried an article addressing these churches. The article listed 9 ways for them to make an eternal impact.
1. Personal Outreach and Relational Evangelism.
2.Community Service with a Gospel Focus.
3. Hospitality and Inviting.
4. Use of Technology and Social Media.
5. Prayer and Intercession.
6. Children and Youth Outreach.
7. Partner with Other Churches and Ministries.
8. Live out the Gospel daily.
9. Distribute Gospel Materials
It's my hope that ALL of our churches (no matter the size) would be working to make an eternal impact - to be found good and faithful servants!!!
